Tis Milner Nichols
I have a long, diverse history with creativity. I delight in working with people of all ages to assist them to express themselves creatively and have worked for many years as a practicing artist designing and implementing numerous community cultural development projects. I have been associated with Steiner Schools and anthroposophy for a few decades as both a parent and teacher at the Mt Barker and Willunga Waldorf schools in South Australia. I have taught art, wood and metal work, Shakespeare and English as well as lead many camps.
As an outdoor educator I have delivered visual art sessions which draw on immersion the natural environment and witnessed the power of connectedness and deep internalisation of the situation. Providing opportunities for creative expression through both word and image enables integration of the whole experience.
