Sophia Montefiore

​Sophia Montefiore has been a dedicated Waldorf teacher for over 30 years. She has presented workshops for Waldorf teachers at Steiner Education Australia Conferences, the Australian Pedagogical Section intensives, Sydney Rudolf Steiner College, Ira Institution for Learning (India), Waldorf schools in Cape Town (South Africa), Sekem (Egypt) and Michael Hall (U.K.)  as well as some online courses. Sophia is currently the Senior HSC Coordinator at the Newcastle Waldorf School. She teaches a range of High School subjects including English, History, Mathematics, Projective Geometry, Art, and Philosophy. Sophia is an artist, author and illustrator and has written articles for the Journal for Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner Education and Lillipoh- The Spirit of Life (U.S).
